Landscapes
Situated 2? hours' drive from Ksar Ighnda, the Dades gorges are a must-see destination. These gorges stretch for 25 km and feature impressive ochre-coloured cliffs. Dwellings of the same colour blend into the rock, and sunset promises magical moments dressed in magnificent vermilion hues. As you make your way through the Dades Gorge, you'll come across a succession of distinctive features that don't necessarily resemble each other. The famous "monkey fingers", a ruined kasbah, orchards, villages and canyons - it's a succession of landscapes, each more surprising than the last.
Valley
The Dades Valley's tourist nickname, the gorges of the Valley of the Roses are lush green with almond, apricot and fig trees that shade the valley's villages. It is in the heart of this region that a number of rosewater-based products are handcrafted. This is the perfect opportunity to stop off at a typical shop and try out some of the products, and take home a souvenir that will remind you of your holiday.
